We’re two South African guys who made the UK our new home—but never forgot the flavours we grew up with. Back in SA, biltong on a road trip, a braai with friends, or grabbing a piece of droëwors straight from the butcher wasn’t just food… it was a feeling. It was community, comfort, and a little taste of home.

That’s why we started this business: to share the authentic flavours we miss every day—made properly, traditionally, and with the same pride our families taught us.

Our goal is simple:
Bring South Africans in the UK the real taste of home. No shortcuts. No imitations. Just proper South African meats.

We call it Smaak van Huis — “the flavour of home because flavour connects us.”
